Founded in 2012 with the name of «Casas y Cabañas Punta sal» by the founder Rocío Rosales V., it was like any visitor to Punta Sal, with a great taste for the beach, he decided to create a vacation project where later accommodation facilities would be created for tourists.

Initially it had 1 property, providing very basic services later, around 2018, rooms and other services would be added. In 2020, with the collaboration of Co-founder Diego Chavez R., they incorporated the name «Huluwaju» which improved some of the company’s operations. The new name belongs to an island in the South Pacific with a rustic and high-comfort, semi-jungle environment. In 2020, a 9-meter long pool with 3 levels of depth was added.
